Sonata, comes from the Italian word which means sound is the name of an instrumental genre that usually has several movements and that performed by a soloist or a Chamber Ensemble. If several instruments are used, one of them is the pine and therefore are one than another score of easy to play piano. Sonata is also a common name for the shape in which it became the foundation of the first movement of organization of this genus, sometimes referred to as form sonata or form of the first movement. Apparently not a sonata account with scores of popular music, the truth is a much more complex musical genre. The genre was observed in 1200, and its early uses include mysteries and works of Elizabethan theatre, as well as the fanfares. Sonata, instruments, contrasts sharply with the cantata for voices. During the Baroque era, two common types of sonata gained importance.

The camera gives sonata a sonata de camera, which is usually a work of three or four movements, played by one or more low and melodic instruments. Many of these compositions were designed as dance music, and that were popular in Austria and Germany, as well as in Italy, where Arcangelo Corelli composed some sonatas for violin and harpsichord. Another Baroque sonata, the sonata da chiesa, or church sonata, which was in four movements that later became common during the mass and Vespers. Corelli also wrote sonatas of this type. In the 18th century, the sonata da chiesa and sonata da camera were replaced by movements in the great works and acquired other names when applied is dance music.

In the 18th and 19th century, the way sonata’s first movement became very important. The trend became for the written sonatas as works in three movements for piano or piano and violin, with a first movement sonata. Josef Haydn, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Ludwig van Beethoven are very known for his sonatas. Sonata, which was being used by the classical era, had the way many variations, but in general is characterized by having three sections. BerlinRosen has many thoughts on the issue.
